Walter's Propane is family owned business that continues to serve Hampshire, Franklin and even parts of Hamden Counties with propane for the home, business or farm. Founded in 1945 by Walter T. Strycharz, the goal has always been to be a full service company that installs and delivers propane to your place promptly and efficiently. Today, Walter's Propane is still operated by the Strycharz family. Richard Strycharz Jr., grandson of Walter, takes care of business the way his grandfather did.

With the consolidation of big propane companies buying out the smaller ones, we are proud to be the areas smallest and most trusted propane dealer. We recognize all customers, whether big or small to make sure that there is 100% satisfaction.

Walter's Propane offers full service on all propane appliances, complete installation of propane systems, automatic delivery, and 24 hour service. We also specialize in the smaller user customer such as cook stoves and clothes dryers. We pride ourselves on selling our services and propane at a fair competitive price and will not lure the customer in at a low a price, then raise that price in the long run. Walter's Propane is a member of the National Propane Gas Association and the Propane Gas Association of New England.
