Hi Rich, good looking website. Mine is still in the works. Great history of your family business. I plan to keep mine small too. If anyone has a leaky water heater and is looking to go solar send them my way so we can outfit them with a solar/propane combo water heater.

Walters Propane installed a propane heater in my "all electric" home in Easthampton back around 1995. My electric bill was $500. a month. After installation, my electric bill was $80.and my propane bill in the dead of winter was $200. The heater paid for itself in the first season. I had reomved my wood and coal stove as soot seemd to be everywhere. The propane stove burned clean and worked during power outages. I am now living in West Holyoke with oil / forced hot air but I will have Walters install another heater for emergency outages and general usage. Thank You for over 60 years of service to the surrounding areas of Hadley Mass. Quality and Service is another name for WALTERS PROPANE

I remember Walter's of Hadley well. I would go there with my parents every August (??) when Walter and his wife would have an annual party at the store...food, entertainment, and lots of good fun. My dad (Eddie Shaw) took tons of pics at those wonderful gatherings...most likely all b/w photos. Oh...and yes...my parents bought furniture, a TV, and washing machine from Walter's. I am age 67 now and so happy that Walter's is still in the area. I was born and raised in Northampton, but moved to Boston for 3 years and then Los Angeles for 23 years. Moved back to this area when I retired.
Keep up the good work, everyone. I'm sure you are very proud of your heritage. Loved "your folks."

I love having Walter's Propane come around and refill my tanks, they give wonderful business, the best in the area!
Also saw the snap shot in lpgas mag. Good story and it is interesting to read about other family owned propane businesses. We are also a 3rd generation family operation. Located in NE Texas, founded by my grandfather in 1949. What's interesting is the contrast in size of our bobtails. I'm sure you have a lot more "remote access" deliveries to make than we do.
